la vida loca

So life has been non stop.  no time to breathe.  Break was fantastic!!! I went to NYC with some family and friends.  This is Jess and I in the city at night, you have to love NYC shopping trips!

On spring break I also had the chance to spend some well needed bonding time with my beautiful Mother and Niece!  It was a lot of fun!  When I was looking at this picture I was amazed about how much my mom and I look alike!  Gweneth is getting so big so fast... it was soo soo nice to just play and be an aunt!  (:  I like being Aunt kay kay!

Oh yea! and I turned 21, very exciting... my brother and some other family met in MD for a little celebration.  We went to Carrabbas, it was quite good!

So then I get back to school... School is going extremely fast!  Student activities is picking up speed and I feel like I have NO time for any of it.  I am trying to not just go through the motions of like but sometimes I really need a reality check.  This picture is from one of the formal events that student activities put  on last night called Film Fest.  It was a great time.  We show student made films and everyone gets dressed up.  It is an award show, resembling the Oscars.  this the AWESOME staff that I work with (left to right)  Matthew, Nella, Ryan, Adam, Me, Katie, and Ben.  We make such a great team.  I love them!  It has been so awesome to watch us grow together as a team or my favorite word, family. (:  We just went through the interviewing for next year, I am not going to lie... im really sad that I am not going to be part of that staff but i will breathe a great sigh of relief when this year is all over.  

In other news.... we official have signed a lease to our first house for next school year AND I just received word of where my first placement of teaching is for next  semester!  I am going to Riverside school!  All in All life is good and I am thankful for the smile I have (:  Well thank you for being interested in my crazy life and remembering me in you r prayers!  Be a Blessing!

Wow it is nice to have a break from Geneva.. I love Geneva but it is so nice to not be there (: Stay tuned for some fun spring break stories!!!

Also on Sunday- I was supposed to be studying for a midterm....

I applied for a summer camp job this summer at Summers Best Two weeks... it has been a long waiting process, but I found out yesterday that I was hired!!!!  What an answer to prayer!  I will be spending my summer in Somerset, Pa at a Christian Sports Camp, I could not be more excited!  Check the camp out!  www.Sb2w.org  I would appreciate prayer for transitions and exhaustion as the summer approaches quickly (:

On another note-break starts on Friday! AHH and i turn the big 21 pretty darn soon!  Im heading to the big apple to celebrate with friends and fam. (:  

Break is so close that I can taste it!

Wow break is so close... Spring break is EXACTLY what everyone needs!  The past couple days have been sweet (i havent been doing much studying or homework).  On Friday, we celebrated some birthdays... Ashlie and Tayler turned 20.  A bunch of people went to Pittsburgh to celebrate.  It was a lot of fun..because of student activities on the weekends it is hard for me to be available to celebrate with friends so it was nice to just go out and have fun!  Saturday was a lazy day, i should have been studying for History but instead Gretchen(my RA/friend)  and I found Titanic  on tv and spent the WHOLE day watching that and just hanging out.

On Saturday Holli and I put on a little activity for our friends (:  I'll give you a little background...  Holli and i have been talking about how we wanted to do something fun for a while, so at the beginning of the week Holli had an idea... It was called Dare night. we sent unanimous notes to some of our friends to meet us at a location to start the dare night.  We had about 15 people show up and play.. We had a list of things people had to complete and take pictures of... My team won!  It was a lot of fun and gave people a chance to hang out before break... there were a ton of laughs, hopefully people add pictures to facebook soon!  

Oh Sunday.. I looove sundays.. There is a small group of us that attends a church in Cranberry that we really enjoy.  I am really learning a lot, i am challenged and growing.  I am so thankful for our church.  After Church Diana and I decided to have a little birthday party for Stu, his birthday was last tuesday!  I am pretty proud of the cake I made for him!  (with lots of help from anna, one of my housemates)  It was fun (:  I have some great friends!

Wow... I am thankful for thursdays, my weeks are jam packed until thursday.. i can finally breathe!  The concert last night was AWESOME every performer was impressive.. Tyrone's songs spoke to my heart though.  The whole night was a reminder of how much I love the atmosphere of live GOOD music.  The day was filled with chaos but I was surrounded/working with great friends!  Unfortunately I was too busy to take pictures but here are the lyrics to my fav. song from last night... Look him up Tyrone and his opener, Keaton are playing at the Hardrock right Now!

Just another day

today is just another busy/crazy day here at Geneva.... Although im a student, sometimes it's the least of my worries.. Student activities is putting on a concert tonight with Tyrone Wells and Joy Ike, it should be pretty sweet.  Hopefully i will have pictures to come later this week.  today... i am learning patience.  Im am learning that i need to have more of it and it something that is required of me.  Im learning to wait on God and trust that what he has in store for me in EVEY aspect of my life will be worth being patient.  

On another note.. it is a beautiful day in Beaver falls!  It is soooo nice to finally see sunshine, it has been a LONG winter.  Spring break is next week and i couldnt be more excited!  Classes get cancelled on friday so i have an extra day which I am not mad about at all!  I went for a walk today and it reminded me of how much I enjoy being outside.. We/I am planning a camp out as soon as it is nice out.  So that should be fun... again i have to be patient to wait for nicer weather... 

This is somewhat of a ramble but it's just other day in the life...  (:

Home sick for Mexico

Wow, I miss Mexico!  Mexico was once again incredible.... I have been thinking so much about my family there.  I know it is always going to be a good day when I wake up from dreaming about them all night long!  I cannot wait to see them again...  I leave you with some pictures from January...
